Here are a few examples from our portfolio: Project 1: Rooftop Bamboo Home in Delhi Installed on a terrace in South Delhi, this 12x20 ft bamboo home serves as a compact studio apartment for a young couple. Built in just 4 days, it uses pressure-treated bamboo, natural thatch roofing, and insulated wall panels. The home is not only heat-resistant but blends seamlessly into the urban skyline. The project was part of an NGO-supported pilot to explore alternatives to traditional school shelters. The structure was designed for rapid deployment and featured modular bamboo wall panels fabricated by local Self-Help Group (SHG) women, who were trained in construction and assembly techniques. The hospital included isolation wards, sanitation blocks, and ventilation-optimized layouts to support patient care. Each unit was built using treated bamboo and recycled materials, and the entire facility was powered with solar lighting and equipped with compost-based sanitation solutions to maintain environmental hygiene. The huts were built on raised bamboo stilts, insulated with recycled fabric, and designed for all-weather use. The client reported a 40% savings in cost and a significant uptick in bookings due to the rustic, green aesthetic.
